3rd Floor Main Street Rooms
DescriptionWith the best views, these large rooms look out over our historic “Main Street”, across at the ski area, and 13,000ft Ballard Mountain. Wake up in the morning to see the ski patrollers on their way up the lift and watch the sno-cats groom the slopes in the evening. In the summertime, watch the 4th of July parade from your bedroom window. As these rooms do front Main Street, when there are exuberant residents below, our guests who are light sleepers may hear them. We are, after all, the social center of Telluride. The rooms include a sitting area with a comfy upholstered chair, table, and a work desk.
Design by Nina CampbellCompletely renovated in 2008, with designs by the British designer, Nina Campbell retaining and highlighting the history with fine Victorian style furnishings, details, fabrics, papers, and moldings. It is Nina’s elegant design wisdom that mixes traditional pieces and fine detailing (diamond beveled white tiles, brass and crystal chandeliers, rich damask upholstery, layers of pillows) to create a Victorian ambiance while realizing the modern luxury expectations of our guests with heated bathroom floors, large flat panel TVs, iPod docks, and comfy settees.*
